Re: October 2016 Screenshots

As above but running cwm(1) and sysutils/xstatbar:

cwm.th.png

I think the bar font may be too small and:

Sorry to say but that bar is really ugly HoaS, ops
It is a configurable in any way? because as it seems looks hardly visible.

Yes, I agree, it looks awful but the CPU & RAM graphs are kinda neat and the volume indicator works perfectly OOTB smile

Please note that xstatbar is not highly configurable.  Only basics about

#hardcore

Any larger font and the status items wrap over each other on the right hand side...
hmm

At least the font and size can adjusted. That's good.
I would like to provide a simple color config, so enough in advance.

dwm ftw! \o/

screenFetch-2016-10-17_20-35-37.th.png

This may look the same as my usual desktop but for this one I have compiled the dwm window manager "properly" from the OpenBSD ports tree rather than via git; it turns out that my patches to the git files were wrong...  ops

All good now though  angel

Monthly tribute. I feel very compfortable with my KDE-w/o-Plasma setup.

Fira Sans is a great and readable UI font, as is Fira Mono for the terminal.

Breeze theme + icons make applications look good; especially the Breeze icon set is so much better than what GNOME has by default. Using the native Qt5 Breeze look for KDE and Qt applications and the Breeze-gtk theme for GTK.

Firefox is still superior to Chrome/Chromium's UX because it has tab groups…ATM I have five tab groups with >128 tabs open, all nicely sorted and searchable. Also, Chrome's search bar's history suggestions are sh!t; they never even match things you've been looking at 5 minutes ago – Firefox' Beyond Australis extension lets me put an arbitrary number of search as well as history and bookmark matches into the location bar…

Oh and I've switched to network-manager.

Per aspera ad astra.

@S11 @Dobbie  Thanks, guys!

Fonts are Coda (ob-menu), Roboto (tint2 panel) and Radio Space (conky clock)

I agree. However, I use PragmataPro in the terminal. Very sexy font.
