@fog, @AL13N - thank you! big_smile

The servant lifted off a kind of ottoman a long peacock-blue drapery, rather of the nature of a domino, on the front of which was emblazoned a large golden sun, and which was splashed here and there with flaming stars and crescents. “You’re to be dressed as Thursday, sir,” said the valet somewhat affably.

@fog - awesome work again

@ragamatrix - I've tried echinus, another nice wm.

Speaking of nice window managers, something new for me:

As an exercise or because you're not satisfied with pacpl?

# Convert to mp3 and remove source:

pacpl -t mp3 --delete --bitrate 192 *.flac

Re: October 2015 Screenshots

@hhh:
- I want full control, with minimum unknowns or unknown unknowns.
- I tend to think I know a lil-bit about audio (for example pacpl seems to install audio-normalizer, which is like knowledge from some other century)
- Flac and Lame specialized script can be short and cute and easily managed.
- My perl-foo is non-existant.
- man pacpl is 200 times longer than my entire script
- I wanted to keep that lame vbr graph (purely cosmetic reasons)
- I wanted to find out (and control) how lame exactly changes the # of samples (still not understanding that)
- I'd probably find more

(But yeah, there are plenty of one-liners all over the internetz)

Re: October 2015 Screenshots

^Thanks, I was curious. pacpl WFM and supports a truckload of formats but I'm always on the lookout for other ways of doing things. normalize-audio is just a recommends, it's not required.

man pacpl is 200 times longer than my entire script

Touche! lol

Lovely themes, fog!
When you dist-upgraded BunsenLabs 8.2 (Hydrogen) to Sid, did you answer No to the question/prompts on issue, issue.net and lsb.release?

Re: October 2015 Screenshots

I got BL RC1 up and running on my Precision M4400. One of my favorite laptops ever.

I still have a few more apps to install and some tweaks to make, but I am very happy so far. Arch can go suck an egg. I don't want to spend a lot of time setting up my machine. I want to spend a lot of time using it.

Thanks.

The quote on the top left is actually a conky that pulls random fortunes, formats it and sticks it there.

If you want to install Arch easily, try Architect Linux. No need to go Arch-bashing.

Antergos is another good one.  I played around with it last year at about this time.
