Re: June 2016 Screenshots

Hahaha, perfect post title. I'm using lemonbar, but have taken the config from swineherd else and I'll trying to clean it up and understand all the pieces. My biggest concern with it is all the piping, I'm worried that too many asynchronous calls to $(date) and the like will stop my CPU from getting to lower pstates, so it'll use more power than other "heavier* panels...

Reading at least about software rendering support in the MM  build, this is getting so much more interesting!

There's still a major bug present when using this on a PC... the setup doesn't include an option to disable autorotation and set the layout to landscape. The desktop loads normally, but you open anything and the screen might flip on it's side. Mouse control also flips 90 degs (up is right, etc...), which makes things very interesting indeed! 8o

-edit-The workaround is to disable autorotation from the panel pull-down menu before doing anything else, though some apps might override that setting. And the pull down is buggy using a mouse/touchpad. Still, next week I'm installing it, I'll post in DistroHoppers when it's done.

Aww, hell. Google Play understood my voice search, which means my mic is configured ootb. Which probably means my vidcam is as well, which raises some security implications.

Re: June 2016 Screenshots

Lol to a few custom themes, hahahah!!!

I don't care about Google spying on me, I've succumed to assimilation years ago. And it's worth it for me to be able to boot up a Live USB and IMMEDIATELY start talking to my computer.

I apologize to your grandkids for aiding and abetting the creation of SkyNet and the Matrix.

I need to quote @HoaS here for his taste about the beauty of 2wheeling. The BMW R5 Hommage just fullfills a wet lowriders dream. What a beauty!!! Tiny, lean and mean. Just like my raspberry pi running e17 cool

The Arc Theme for Firefox does actually work on OpenBSD despite a message saying that my platform is unsupported:
