Well, only goes to prove that whether it's conky v1.9 or conky v1.10 the /directory/ must be correct as well.
I hereby award you with the "S11 OOPS! Award!" ]:D

Guys, on the first page there are 5 tar file downloads available on google drive.
Namely: 1)Accuweather, 1)Accuweather RSS, 2)WUnderground API - All users, 3)NWS XML - USA users, & 4)Moon phases' script.
Where can I find the file downloads for "1b1_accuweather_images" & "1b2_accuweather_conkyweather_font" for Conky v1.10?
If someone could please point me to those downloads it'd be much appreciated. Many thanks.

Since the last autumn's update, when Accuweather changed their page's layout, all the Accuweather scripts (expect from the RSS one) have been merged into one, namely the 1)Accuweather.
That's the tarball you'd like to download.
Follow the instructions inside the README folder and you should be fine.
Post here if you're not.

Thanks Teo,
The only part I don't fully understand is where/how to input the -f2015 argument for 1_accuweather. Whereabouts do I put that? I changed the location address to my location accordingly so that's fine.
20 years on Windows & just 2 weeks on Linux, I need my hand held for just a bit. Sorry!
Many thanks.

hi,
I do not know if I understood well, but I think you just have to open a conky, to understand, if you open: .conkyrc1_image_2016, find the following line:
${font Arial:size=12}${color ffe595}WEATHER ${font}${hr 2}$color${texeci 500 bash $HOME/1_accuweather/1_accuweather -f2016}
I hope I was helpful.
Offline
It depends on what conkyrc you're using.
If you want to use one of the conkyrcs provided in the tarball, then you don't have to change anything; the command is already there.
Look at .conkyrc_1_images_2015 for example:
...
conky.text = [[
${font Arial:size=12}${color ffe595}WEATHER ${font}${hr 2}$color${texeci 500 bash $HOME/1_accuweather/1_accuweather -f2015}
...
The texeci command executes the script every 500 seconds with the parameter -f2015 and it's everything this particular configuration needs.
On the other hand, if you wanted to create your own personal conkyrc, you'd have to change the parameter according to your liking.

Ector1935 & Teo, thank you both, that is well explained. So, everything should work as expected, but for some reason the Conky doesn't display on my desktop.
I created a fresh .conkyrc in my home folder copied from the .conkyrc_1_images_2016 file. When I run conky command from the terminal everything appears to work as it should. The forecast_2016 folder gets populated with 11 weather .png images & 1 wind direction image. Within the 1_accuweather folder 6 document files get created, namely the curr_cond, first_days, last_days and their raw counterparts. But for some reason the conky doesn't appear on the desktop. Other conky scripts I use get displayed on the desktop just fine.
I also tried running the same conky in a VM and I get the same result, the conky appears to be running but it doesn't display on the desktop.
Below is a copy of the terminal output I get. The conky is still producing update outputs in the terminal every 8-9 minutes so it appears to be running just fine.
I am using Linux Mint Cinnamon v18.1_x64. I'd very much appreciate any suggestions & help to try resolve this issue. Many thanks.

SIGKILL shouldn't be needed (ever).
This should reload the configuration:
pkill -usr1 conky
It even respects a good, old-fashioned SIGHUP:
pkill -hup conky

Start a conky with
conky -c /media/5/Conky/test.conky &
and no matter how many conkys you are running, this will kill just that one conky:
pkill -xf "conky -c /media/5/Conky/test.conky" &
