@ loutch - very nice -->> I love the conky on the right. in fact it's AWESOME! LOVE that Barometer!
Mine (conkys) tend to be more TEXT based as I know almost zero about LUA.

^ Unless I'm mistaken, last quarter === waning crescent, unless you're diving moon phase more finely than quarter.

Sorry guys, my mistake, it is of course 'Waning Crescent'.
I just run the conky once and it used the info from the last time it was run, some days ago ('Last Quarter').
When I run it again, the script had the time to update the info files and showed the correct moon phase.

OOOOOOOOOOOHHHH, ok, now I understand you. It was a semantics matter...
If we're gonna be specific, the last quarter is when the moon is 50% illuminated, right between the waning gibbous and the waning crescent.
So now we're not in a quarter at all. Now we're at waning crescent.
Thanks Wikipedia...

Yup, and for us it lighted up on the right side, 50%-lit disc, for others it's on the wrong side.

@ IP - I'll bite --> Spanish way?
@ Teo - Awesome idea, I could rotate the moon images to do that.
- or make them all "Full Moons" --> for Vampires and Werewolves.

@ IP - I'll bite --> Spanish way?
Yep.
1% to 99% lit == Cuarto creciente (growing quarter).
99% to 1% lit == Cuarto menguante (decreasing quarter)
And that's it. Then Luna Nueva (New Moon) and Luna Llena (Full Moon).
Less complication. Less work.
We're lazy, that way...
