Re: Conky weather+moon scripts (Accuw/WUndergr/NWS/MoonGiant)

Allright, you've killed every instance of conky.
Now run

conky -c ~/1b1_accuweather_images/.conkyrc_1b1_int

and post us any error messages.

Re: Conky weather+moon scripts (Accuw/WUndergr/NWS/MoonGiant)

@emo

It's not Linux Mint, it's a fine distro. Enjoy it.  Always remember, it's not Windows so there will be a 'learning' curve.  And that's what's happening here.

You are new to Linux, and trying to go to fast.  Relax, we are not at your machine.  Do what Teo said with the "killall -9 conky" and then restart your weather conky and show us "ps aux | grep conky" command again.

Ninja'd by the master ... wink

I used to have German, French, Polish, Hungarian, etc. versions of the scripts, but it's too hard to maintain, ie. if something breaks in them, you have to change many instances of the scripts (they had some minor differences that made them special cases, every one of them).

Entschuldigung.

Very nice unklar.  I'm glad to see a 'companion.conky' being used by someone other than me.  smile

If one tries hard, is a change in the
Language in the conkyrc possible.

In S11 the work is "with plenty of space" not complicated. smile

Which proves my suspicion that you're probably doing something wrong in both Mint and Ubuntu.

WOW!  I feel honoured!  Look at those (my) conkys! smile

You have it on why I like to create conky without the "text" description of the weather.

One is wet, one is cold one is cloudless. And not in the order shown ... not hard to guess

There is truth to:  A picture says a thousand words.
Add temperatures and you double the word count below.

Yea, I thought that when I created the first "rough" one for myself, then decided to refine it.
Must get busy and finish the others.  Got a lot going on in RL these days.

KDE - Oh well. I'll stick with the 'black' shadows in compton for now.
