I would like to re-use an old weather conky configuration style that I really enjoyed, the problem is LUA...
I would draw circular lines and put the weather data of teo inside like the first conky on top right of this picture:

I know it's may be crazy, but I still have the code of this lua script but I would use it only for drawing the circle without using the weather datas which are inside it...? big_smile

Nope, none whatsoever.
I make all the appropriate changes in the script's working folder and when I make sure that everything works perfectly I copy the changed files (script or conky config files) into the git folder, from which I do a push to the git repository.

Basically, I don't know why you have a separate dir for the git repo. You can use the repo (and files in it) just like an ordinary dir. I know it doesn't make sense, but I'll do it like this for the moment until I learn git a bit more, so that I don't screw anything up.

I finally had to dig up the good old mageia5 as a comparison for the hour display. Otherwise that would have become nothing... (but, git and w3m could actually be installed)  big_smile  lol

sometime i don't have in conky temperature from d1-d2-d3 etc

& no daily forecast . i must wait for 1 or 2 update from the script to have everithing good in conky like this

No, git status does not "do" anything.
So if you notice - with git status - that all those temporary forecast files would get added to the repo, you just adjust your .gitignore file accordingly, issue 'git status' again and they should get properly ignored.
