There already is a thread called Android screenshots but since not everybody runs Android I thought I'd start a new one...

Re: Phone screenshots

Oh man, I switched back to iPhone.  6 months of Samsung almost drove me crazy.

This was one of my last:

Can a dumb/feature phone even take scrots though? Don't recall seeing that option on my old Nokias, but maybe newer (KaiOS, Symbian, whatever) versions do?

As for my own scrot - sorry, I got nothin'. iPhone user. Just wallpaper, fixed rows of icons and OS/security updates.

Obviously, you'd take a picture of your brick phone with a real camera big_smile

^Who says you can't use a mirror. Or two mirrors. Even selfies can be taken that way.

I think I can stand that and, I would impress my nieces. We have seen many of Studio Ghibli's films together.

My goal is to do everything with F-Droid. For this purpose I have followed these blog guidelines.

Almost all recommendations I have tested and installed. In fact, a life without Googling is possible. Unfortunately, not everyone participates. Comfort is predominant with humans.
At least my wife and my adult children are with me in Conversations and Silence. That's important to me.   smile

Re: Phone screenshots

^ I've been using an F-Droid only phone for years. It's definitely possible. And hail to Mike Kuketz for his blog (not the forums so much though).

Moved away from that since.
It's really easy to create a new "theme" from a suitable image.
Somehow I keep ending up with something bluish/aquatic, seems to fit the OS and also my device which has a sort of pale blue brushed metal finish.
Screenshots don't show much how the UI works, which heavily relies on swipes from all screen edges (e.g. the thin blue bar at the top tells me that there's a pull-down menu). It felt a little confusing and limited at first, but now I enjoy using it very much.
