Newbunsen saying hello

hello all,

I am new to Linux, coming from longstanding relationship with Windows. I work as an "it admin" in a very small company with external it support so I mostly don't do much at work so I have decided it's time to learn Linux.

I am also addicted to video games and the other thing so I have decided that dumping Windows and going for Linux is going to be a productive change.

under 30yo Polish migrant living in England.

I picked BL after trying following distros:

I loved it from the first sight sooooooo... I hope I will stick around this time.

so, hi!

It will be, unless you get addicted to customizing and tinkering it.

Welcome!

Re: Newbunsen saying hello

Thanks.

So far I spent all Friday at work inside BL vm, managed to get through my working day just fine. The only downside of that is that my workplace BL is already looking nice and has software installed as opposed to home install which is... well clean.

And there’s the dual monitor set up and BL being stubborn in deciding where my tray are should be - NOT on the primary screen.

If any specific problems come up - like the tray position - feel free to start a new topic in, for example, Basic Help & Support. There's a good chance someone can help you.

They have only been to NZ twice, I saw them on their first trip can't remember when but it was an epic show.
