Re: Tint2 configuration

Would not be all that hard, Tint2 is a powerfull panel and easily customisable, you just need to understand what the functions are within tint2.

I don't know why but PM doesn't work in mine case.

Edit your Forum Profile (link in the page header): Profile -> Privacy -> Enable private messages system.

The user is @Ututo here, but from the dA page...

this is an old SS. Love the colours. Unfortunately, I lost those configs...

It is very simple to edit your own tint2rc config though - plenty of information here: Menu -> Help&Resources -> Tint2. Remember that the wiki references the latest Tint2, which is much more configurable than the installed one. You can update your Tint2 by installing from our backports repo.

New members with <= 5 posts cannot use private messaging in order to prevent spammers from abusing the system by flooding users with spam PMs. I've promoted Ylva84 manually, so the option should be available now.

Re: Tint2 configuration

It's a simple design, it shouldn't be hard to replicate. You could start from the default BL config, remove all borders, set rounded corners to zero, add similar padding and finally adjust the background colors. For the latter you could download the image, open it in GIMP and use the color picker tool to get the hex values for the two shades of pink and the gray.

The font and icon theme are another story, I have no idea what he used.

Re: Tint2 configuration

Hi there,
Like I said. I don't have those configs no more
That tint2 config is from Artex. Check out his dotfiles, you will find that tint2rc there. The only thing you have to do is change some colors and position.

cheers
