Interesting to get a screen without any panels etc around it. To have complete screen area is something I didn't have a for long time. This is Firefox on Remix.

WOW!  Totally missed this.  I've had urukrama's site bookmarked ... like forever, shortly after installing #! in 2009.

Welcome aboard urukrama.  Don't be a stranger!

Well, I'm certainly not a pro, but here's a shot at it (pun intended)...

The servant lifted off a kind of ottoman a long peacock-blue drapery, rather of the nature of a domino, on the front of which was emblazoned a large golden sun, and which was splashed here and there with flaming stars and crescents. “You’re to be dressed as Thursday, sir,” said the valet somewhat affably.

Installing Raspbian is plain easy. Just download the zipped image, extract it and use the dd command to write it on a microsd-card. Then insert the card in the raspberry pi and let it boot. This brings you to a lxde desktop...

Of that there is no doubt.  Seems like anything fog does has an artist's touch to it.

Thanks. Read about Raspberry Pi. Too expensive for a small thing and too cumbersome to have, with all those wires and additional accessories.

32 bit Remix OS beta installed in a Lenovo G550 Celeron Linux box. The standard installer would give less than 4 GB personal space in Windows or in a USB stick. The total My Remix (home) would be less than 4 GB. Here, it is 54.2 GB and installed on ext4 partition. Never cared for tablet or a smartphone. Its quite exciting to learn about another Linux OS (Android) from the beginning.

The same OS corenominal is using since he left #!. Since Feb 25th, all work is done on this OS and this machine--OS came with the machine, and the machine was so cheap--just to see, if I'd withstand the reluctance to use this OS. Been resisting for 6 years.
Boots in seconds, works very well with Gimp, and so on. Can understand corenominal's decision now.

After work playing with Android, Remix OS for PC. Installed it in 3 boxes and a USB stick. Screenies posted earlier.
