I had forgotten how loud they were.

The sound reminds me of IBM Kugelkopf which were in use in the office my father used to work (they used the puke green ones though - a very popular colour in offices of the 70s).
They probably weren't quite as loud as that computer, but then there were 8 of them, operated by resolute Russian ladies at 400 characters per minute!
That sound is seared into my early childhood memories.

I want another bike, and this one isn't too expensive, and it's available at a time when Chinese manufactured steel bikes aren't available. I'll probably wait for something better if I have more money, but this pic is cheery...

A cheery video, I borrowed my housemate's GoPro...

Is there a button?

There's a reason I didn't document the name of the park in that video. Edward Cornelius Singleton II Park.

-edit- Not so cheery history, the park is named after a 10 year old boy who lost his life playing on a pile of tires before the plot was a park. I assume he fell and broke his neck or suffocated somehow.

Hipster bike. No derailleur, one gear, the rear wheel has two hubs, one on each side (flip-flop). I'm currently riding single-speed, where the hub has a freewheel and you can coast, but my passion is flipping the wheel over to fixed-gear. Here, if the bike is moving the pedals are turning. Front-brake-only is fine here because some braking is done by your legs. One brake on a coaster bike is a bit trickier, you just have to avoid really quick stops (the back wheel will lift 4 feet in the air as the bike tips forward, and your balls will hurt). If you use only one brake, make it the front one, it does something like 70% of the braking.
