Team Bunsen,
I do not have the skills to contribute in any meaningful way but man am I happy you are here. I've been out of linux for a while. Simply do not have the time to tweak and fix with a family - something about other humans needing my attention.
The old #! was my daily driver. I have fond memories of trying to tweak Conky and just learning to rely more on the keyboard. Now that my sons are older, I have time to disappear for hours on end - life is good.
Just installed this on my old ZaReason desktop that has not been turned on since 2014. It hums. I will upload on my new System76 meerkat here in a few days once received.
Now, back to my own lab I go trying to re-learn how to navigate openbox and tweak a few things to my liking.
Do you have a swag shop? Love to get a few things and start supporting the community in small ways.
Thanks again...just feels good to be in the lab.
Warmly,
JP

Hi - just discovered you last night, literally. I have an old ZaReason strata laptop with Manjaro KDE but really missed the feel of #!. For whatever reason, just started looking for openbox distros and you guys rose to the top the second I read it was a continuation of the old #! effort. Not disappointing. It seems to have gotten more user firendly - auto-updates even.
Hopefully the forums are as kind and friendly - especially to non-tech linux types such as myself. That was always a highlight of the old #! forums.
Thanks,
JP

ditto what damo said: Welcome home.
EDIT: aaaaand ninja'd by John.
Anyway, you're home now ... wander around the halls, help yourself to a coffee in the coffee room and we have 2 music rooms one for regular music and one for regular metal music.
Enjoy.
