This evening, I'm enjoying a bottle of Leffe Brune, a Belgium strong beer. Very nice dark beer; a bit too sweet to be perfect though.

This quarantine is turning me into a beer connoisseur.

^^Leffe Blonde is quite nice too, if you haven't tried it. A bit more conventional perhaps.

Black currant. The stuff is flipping pricey. It was ok, not great. I wanted Lindemans, I couldn't find it locally during a pandemic.

^Don't bother searching for Lindemans fruit beer: it's too sweet in my (somewhat limited) experience. They do appear to make some other worthwhile lambic beers though, according to this nice guide I just found:
The ultimate guide to Belgium's lambic breweries
Has some other snippets like "3 Fonteinen nearly went out of business in 2009 when a faulty thermostat cause nearly their entire stock to explode."
