Does Lithium Use X11 or Wayland?

I need to know in regards to snap packages. For example, there is a snap for fluxgui. The documentation states it only works with X11, not mir. It doesn't mention Wayland. I'm new here and would love to install fluxgui if I can.

X11 for the near future but down the road Debian will make the move towards Wayland.

Given that, I think I'll stay away from Snap.
