(that was yesterday, followed by swimming & bbq on the island)
That looks like it was a fun day, what a great spot to be in.

^ oh yeah.
It was actually the larger island far off on the right.
Equipped for trips like this, it has several BBQ places with firewood provided, several small sand beaches, and a restaurant.
Some older pics: pier, west side.

Nice, the dent is tunnel-shaped. Get some ACME products, though, and that will buff right out, but you will hear some accordion sounds in the process.

Finding something like this makes me wonder if someone just lost it there, or someone else arranged it on purpose.

I recently learned that the 1993 Tag Team album, song and lyric is, in fact, "Whoomp! (There It Is)."

^ Well don't feel like the lone ranger. Us smart kids sat in the front of class and got As while the cool kids sat in the back getting Cs.
The smart kids went on to good paying, interesting jobs. The cool kids are sub-managers at MickyDs.

^ Aaargh, the PTSD is returning! Horrible memories of learning Fortran using card machines, and submitting bundles to the mainframe. Followed 12 hours later with a ream of printout and "Syntax error on line 2"

Heh. We were just remembering those days, fondly, on another forum. My start with FORTRAN was on a physical Teletype machine (hence, our current use of the term "tty") in the early 70s.

I had forgotten how loud they were.
On the right is the punch station, on the left is the read station.
The green card sets the entry locations for the program stored on the drum. Once set, remains in effect 'till the end of the program.
