iproute2 - native colored output

This is life-changing.

alias ip='ip -color'
ip route
ip addr
ip link
ip tcp_metrics
ip route get $(dig +short a forums.bunsenlabs.org|tail -n1)

I've used this in black-and-white for 10 years smile

Yeah, me too.
Very cool! Colors carry informational value. Alias added.

That last command - if it says 'cache' in the end, what is actually cached?

At the very least ‘ip link’ helps troubleshooting network setup.
