^ ... and now take it for a spin! Or wait, was that even a real car?
Anyhow, I hope they succeed.
But I can't help feeling a bit sceptical. Wouldn't be the first ones hoping to build for quality, then hitting a very hard wall when they realize just how expensive it's going to be, or simply not possible to realize in larger numbers, starting to make trade-offs here and there, ending up with something that is just slightly above average, and suddenly it's getting hard to justify the higher price...

And of course into the system itself.
Always freaks me out when I visit Tokyo, but people there seem to cope with it.

Even though I saw John Carpenter's The Thing in the cinema when it was released in 1986 (I think), and Escape From New York and They Live on VHS at home shortly thereafter, I'm watching Big Trouble in Little China for the first time now. That is all.
Really quickly, some immediate influences I recognize... Enter the Dragon, Blade Runner, The Empire Strikes Back, Excalibur, Star Trek TOS, and the early Sinbad movies like The 7th Voyage of Sinbad.
What I see it closely influencing, first thoughts... Maybe Hellraiser II and The Silence of the Lambs, definitely Kill Bill, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Army of Darkness, and the Mortal Kombat 1992 video arcade game.
