That reminds me of a friend back in the 70's that had a heavy duty winterized GMC "Jimmy" with one, 2 actually, options not offered by GMC.
2x Canadair CT-133 Silver Star landing lights.
Travelling through the mountain one dark cloudy night an approaching car refused to "dim his lights". My buddy reached down for the toggle switch.
flip - one thousand and one - flip.
It was bright to say the least, I was blinded, we passed the other car, that had turned his lights OFF, just parking lights on and parked by the side of the road, my buddy tooted his horn and we went on.
He use to use the "heat" these things generated to clear his driveway in the Canadian winters.
AND after "ice storms" face the side of a car that was frozen over with ice:
flip - one thousand and one - one thousand and two - flip.
No more ice.

Except I live downtown and use a bicycle, I don't own a car.

In short story, you were playing cowboys and aliens with the landing lights.
You were cowboys and the over-illuminated guy in the other vehicle halucinated about the aliens.

There is always a hope they have a model for the bicycle.
Why is City Centre downtown? It's neither down nor town.

^ More beautiful space images! I'm totally oblivious to any scientific aspects this may have, but I liked the first background image on the page best. Always thinking of desktop backgrounds.

Great choice, saved! Yeti theme will probably look great with it.

Japan By River Cruise
Great (IMO) podcast about... Japan stuff.
Weekly episodes, this one's quite good:

^ Huh? A "weekly podcast by comedians Bobby Judo and Ollie Horn that purports to be about the Japanese river cruise industry"? Sounds weirdly interesting. Thanks for the tip.

^Check it out! I enjoy it, though there might be a certain % of stuff that only locals would understand...

Listening to my second episode now. There is some interesting information there but also too much laughing at their own jokes some of which must be completely local (to young, male Americans living in Japan) or maybe only funny to these guys.

True for almost every podcast out there (I'm looking at you, Red Letter Media).

^ & ^^ Yes they do laugh a lot (usually at themselves), but I think some of the jokes are more subtle than they might sound, and based off some reference made a few minutes ago to something mostly only people who live in Japan might pick up on.
But there's a lot of quite serious (and not incorrect) commentary mixed in there too. Try this episode on racism in Japan: https://share.transistor.fm/s/6860f511

So, at first I was a little disappointed because I expected something else and wasn't too keen on comedians talking about being comedians, instead of doing comedy. And it has nothing to do with river cruises! Naked disinformation warning!
But most of the time they really do talk about life in Japan, as a foreigner or elsewise culturally challenged person, and that turns out to be very interesting.
And that cheesy jingle with the giggling girl, I can't get it out of my head again!!!
(and they also complained about Trump being a way better comedian than they are)

I learned about a program, this morning: dc. It is one of the oldest UNIX utilities, predating even the C language (dc was written in B). It is a command line or scripted desktop calculator, and it works like a charm.

Much respect for these people. One really has to have their ducks in a row to qualify for the SS.
