Anytime.  I used Audacious for years but this year I had been using MPD more and more and slowly it became my full time player.

Screenshot-at-2018-09-24-22-00-13.md.png

A multi-month effort... got my Mint-Y themes playing nicely with my fvwm configs.  To top it off running a custom patched pcmanfm (gtk2 version) without menubars.

Screenshot-at-2018-09-24-22-16-12.md.png

I've even found that I can do everything at work my clients require with WPS.  Sharing data with kingsoft can't be any worse than Google or MS.

Looks nice and how you feel FVWM compared to Openbox? I might take a stab at FVWM again maybe just an unadorned FVWM with Tint2 for the panel. Can u share your FVWM config?

Re: September 2018 Screenshots

@DeepDaze  FVWM always felt more responsive to me and lighter on the resources but more of a pain to config.  Tint2 works good with with FVWM.. I think you need to set EWMH struts though for the region it will reside.  @packrat might be able to clarify. It's been a while since I put them together.

@hhh there is. "Mint-Y-Graphite-Dark" https://bitbucket.org/rstrcogburn/themes/src

it's a little greyish

If you want something a tad darker with the same icons @dobbie's theme here works good too.

Yes, tint2 will work with Fvwm, but takes some tweaking to work with Fvwm EWMH strut policies. For third party panels, I actually prefer Xfce4 panel, polybar also works.

Fvwm with xfce4-panel and jgmenu:

fvwm_xfce.th.png

stole an idea from ArchLabs and loaded xfsettingsd and control the panel theme that way.

Re: September 2018 Screenshots

@PackRat looking good.
I’ve got mixed feelings about xsettings. I have found that it subtly affects the look of some applications (e.g. pcmanfm)

What about with themes? Will xsettingsd affect themes?

I start it from the Fvwm config file, so it only controls the gtk theme fr Fvwm. When I log out and change to Fluxbox (ant wm) the it's the gtk-3 theme set by lxappearance. Fvwm decor is defined by Fvwm config, so that would have to be manually edited to match.

Re: September 2018 Screenshots

@DeepDayze It was a couple years ago since I played around with xsettingsd so I can't quite remember, but I think that it affects at least icon theme, font and GTK theme. It probably depends on what xsettings variables are set and which application reads those variables.
