Hello all,
Used linux since the early Slackware days back in the early 90's. Became a serious distro hopper until I discovered #!. I loved that distro. Then went back to distro hopping when it died then BunsenLabs. No need to distro hop any more. Just thank you for the best distro out there, by far.

You must be about as old as me, lol...I cut my Linux teeth on Slackware in the early 90s as well, and did some distro hopping myself. Red Hat, Fedora, then Debian (and its many flavors). Fun times!

Welcome to the forum!
I tend to call ex-#! fans ending up here "users from the lost legion" (after the movie Eagle). Thinking about it, I'd say #! had a significant influence on distro development as it was the first of "its kind" (I might be wrong though, but #! was surely popular and "different" meaning minimalistic in a cool way). Now there are Archbang, Archlabs, Archlabs Minimo, SalentOS, etc.
