My dirty Alpine Linux portable [1] desktop:

And the (very) clean version:

The condensed Liberation (v2) font didn't seem to space well so I've changed to the normal version but I think Luxi may be incoming, copyright and all.

Helium-dev showing GTK2, GTK3 (evince, in the background) and Qt5 (the rather lovely kwrite showing off it's overview pane and preview tooltip) applications all co-existing happily. Which is nice.

The urxvt colours have been changed to the GNOME terminal scheme so the synatx highlighting in vim is now actually readable.

Cool! I guess I can point the workspace indicator, the clock widget, those circles as bookmark launchers and the statusbar - but where is the taskbar?

I see, thanks. Invisible between the workspace indicator and the systray - looks clean that way. If you don't mind me asking: What feature is that called "Under the Bridge" in the systray? Btw that music player ncmpcpp looks fantastic.

Re: September 2017 Screenshot Thread.

Thanks Steve & brontosaurusrex. Breeze theme a fav of mine, I use White version.
While Papirus have some pretty good icons that goes just fine with dark Breeze theme.

Sorry, I don't have any info regarding your question. The only icons that i use on tint2 is launcher and systray

# System Tray
systray_icon_size = 32

# Launcher
launcher_icon_size = 32

Perhaps you are looking for something else than what i wrote, o9000 may have an answer.

I don't know, but I have slight memory about 'area-size' debate..., anyway that mix didn't really work, would be just to much work, so i'll just stick with 'Papirus dark GTK' icons for now.

Re: September 2017 Screenshot Thread.

No, I'am thinking about app counting non-transparent pixels and calculating area-based-resizing, where limit would be some sort of max-pixels allowed value (like a size normalizer of some sort), actually I don't have a good idea about the math needed, but irc imagemagick has something similar.

Example, 3 icons

1                 2                 3

+--------------+  +--------------+  +--------------+
|              |  | |------------|  |              |
|  +-+-------+ |  | || | |  |-| ||  |              |
|  | | |---+ | |  | || | ++ |----|  |  +----+      |
|  | | |--|  | |  | || | || |----|  |  |----|      |
|  | +----|  | |  | || | || |----|  |  |----|      |
|  | |-----+ | |  | || +--+ +----|  |  |----|      |
|  +---------+ |  | |--+  +-+ | ||  |  |----|      |
+--------------+  +-----------+--+  +--------------+

Icon 1 is fine (do nothing), 2 is to big, scale down, 3 is fine (do nothing). I guess that's something that should/could be implemented in icon engines.

Re: September 2017 Screenshot Thread.

Ahh yes. I believe it would work the other way around? Tint2 being the container, resizes itself to the largest icon size specified in its config. There is a way though, if you build an imagemagick script and call it before starting tint2 in Openbox's autostart. && the two commands together such that tint2 will only start after your imagemagick script successfully executes.
