2.5% beer is the law? You're joking. I suppose you're out of hotdogs as well, and that your potato salad is German and the coleslaw has pineapple in it...

Oh, right. The sins.

F***ing read the first post I made about this:
Last night I went shopping after 21:00, when you can't buy anything with more than 2.8% alcohol. So I got some 2.5% alcohol rye IPA, it was really good, full of flowery hops.
You have the attention span & reading skills of a 12-year old redditer.
BTW, 15 posts in 10h to the "what are you listening" thread alone? That's sick even for you.
Maybe you should get off the interwebz for a while?

Dude, look at my eyes. I've seen shit, your opinion means nothing to me. Any comment anybody ever makes about someone else is almost always a reflection of what they hate about themselves. I'm not perfect, nobody else is either.
Alcohol. 5% proper beer alcohol, that's what I'm drinking. Perfect for spamming the "Listening Now" forum on a dull Thursday night, especially when I was tired, up too late, had to work the next morning but was still having fun by myself on this forum. No thanks to you, I guess. Try shopping earlier when your stupid laws let you buy a real beer, it might improve your attitude.

I know exactly what he was talking about, and he knows exactly why I'm annoyed.
Do you?
I'm chill.

Kinda the opposite of your experience.
That sounds chill. Here we have All Day IPA at 4.7%, it is quite nice.

All Day IPA at 4.7%
That betrays a very different cultural approach to drinking.
Compare to Finland:
People might whisper about your "alcohol problem" when you take a glass of wine with lunch, but it's perfectly normal to pass out drunk every saturday.
But it's getting better. People are starting to realise that "alcohol" and "culture" aren't antonyms but actually belong together.

My wife's niece lives in Chigasaki and the other day sent us some beer from a local brewer called Kumazawa. This IPA was very nice - 6% but dry and well-hopped with a wonderful, almost grapefruit aroma.
Inspired to read more about IPA beers, discovered:
"The common story that early IPAs were much stronger than other beers of the time, however, is a myth."
