Decided to try FluxBox this time around.
GTK: Bunsen-dark
Icons: ACYL
Fonts: Futura Bk BT (with infinality)
Flux style : A shameless rip off of the kiss0s style from arpinux.
I'm a sucker for nostalgia, hence the cb wall

Nice! Those tint icons look really great.

@martix: The panel is the default fluxbox panel . If you're interested in the icons, check here. I had issues with fdpowermon not showing with the right icon theme. But needless to say BL forums had the answer here.
@Glenn: You'll seriously miss the awesome pipemenus In flux you'll need a bit of shell script trickery to get what you want ( if its dynamic ) in the menu
I suck at shell scripting

@Glenn: glad to hear you're having fun. If you want you could read about basic fluxbox stuff here. I came to fluxbox after trying out livarp. If you're a ricing junkie, like the rest of us here ,you sould definetly check livarp.
If you find a way to bring in dynamic menus into play without much pain involvement, do let the mortals know . Have fun fluxing

jessiebox should be installable as per;sudo refractainstaller-yad
choose 'expert' install in order to create a new user...
Thank-you,
I tried the installation, jessiebox boot but after startx I got a blackscreenDon't know what happenned.
Sometimes the refracta installer fails at creating an user account properly. It creates the account but not a home folder for the user.
Login as root and check if a yourusername directory exists. Maybe only live remains there which is not an user account anymore but the populated /home/live directory remains. If this is the case run these commands:
deluser yourusername
adduser yourusername
adduser will create the accounts properly. Problem is that skel is almost empty and your newly created account will be plain and lame. Maybe you'll want to keep the stuff into live user.
To create "proper" new users, login as root, launch a terminal (if not in the tty) and copy the stuff you'd like to find into the new accounts from /home/live to /etc/skel.
Then run the two commands above. It seems this distrolette is intended for live use mainly.
PS, I see what you mean now. Just installed it on a VM and yes, blank screen after startx. Not for root but for regular users. I guess it's an xserver permissions issue or related to it. Just to check that systemd service warning, I've purged it and replaced it by sysvinit with openrc. Made no difference. The xserver spawns fine for root. Not for regular users.
Sorry for the derailment....

@Snap
Thanks for the above.
I am investigating calamares installer for future use...

Reinstalled without making a new user. Live works (with some hickups) but startx runs ok.

@Glenn - Would you mind posting that conky in Show us your Conky instead of @Teo's specialized thread, and updating the link here?
Thanks

Thanks for feedback, no problem I've tested it and I really liked that snap font and mpd are already configured... Well done for this taste of jessie-box

@glenn, thanks!
What, quadruple the RAM usage for a more crippled desktop? Sign me up GNOME (not). 3.20 on stretch/sid via the alpha7 installer.

That's more like it (minimal GNOME), but I still am craving Mate again. I think 2 more days and I'll be done with GNOME. Until GTK2/GTK3 gets ironed out, everything is a fiasco.

For 2GB total of RAM, i think you should get rid the whole thing if the test had enough, You 've showed better looking scrots with other DE i remember months ago.
My 2cents,
