Wear it with pride!

Hello,
after a long trial and error session installing BL on my newly purchased netbook, I thought "Why not to show it off!", so I sat down to plot a vinyl sticker for the front lid covering the ugly Acer logo wink

So as this is the Artwork section, I thought it might be interesting not only to show the interior, but also the exterior big_smile

This is what I came up with...

Bunsen_Laptop1.jpg

More pics to follow.

Best regards
Merlin

Hey! That looks really neat! Good job. I'm stuck using a work laptop so I cant add anything to it like that. I do carry around an external monitor at times, so maybe I can add something to that. How'd you make the sticker?

Re: Wear it with pride!

I own a plotter (Brother CM900) so that was maybe a little help smile

1st I bought the cheapest automobile vinyl that was available (around 3€/m).
2nd I downloaded the BL logo from wikipedia (because it was SVG instead of JPG)
3rd I edited it with Inkskape (I tend to use *only* opensource for my hobbies).
4th I plotted it and transferred it to the lid.

Duration, some 30min...

Best regards
Merlin

"/usr/share/images/bunsen/icon-avatar/*.svg" (and on our github) wink

If you don't have them, then install bunsen-images-extra (I can't remember if they are in the default install).

That looks great. I'd love to adorn some Bunsen propaganda on my lappy.
Unfortunately, there's still no sign of BunsenLabs stickers available for purchase.
