Re: Completely Off Topic Chat

Yeah, when I was running Windows 10 the weather program was one of my favorites.

It looks very nice.

Doesn't match all the info that Sector11 and others have managed to wrangle into their conky's, but it's still very nice overall.

I do like the new look though.

I'd say that from the little bit of testing and configuring I've done, 10 feels way batter than 7 -- installs much faster, the desktop is snappier (even when virtualized) and somehow more speedier given the same computing resources (like when opening certain management console snap-ins, etc). Too bad it's spyware, on top of proprietary wink

Don't need windows for that.  Linux + Conky - and you get it "your way"

You can even have radar maps, warnings and as one Australian user did: surfing reports.

Every one of those are started with an OB Menu entry and have borders just like any other app. Open it, read it, close it.

You will never forget it. Please think one more time before committing, is it the right time? are you ready for the consequences? Will you be the same person after this?

My prayers are with you!

also: forecast is available as forecast through the BunsenLabs project's Debian repository at pkg.bunsenlabs.org.

Had "Jay's Garage" (TV show) on as background noise and Jay Leno just mentioned he started hosting The Tonight Show in 1992.

And now I know why I changed my avatar an hour before this, I obviously had a premonition about the horror of my wasted life.

Friend: So and so just had a baby.
Me: Oh? Battle fodder or breeding stock?
Fried: Dude....
Me: What?!

Think I need to lay off the Mad Max references for a bit. Everyone around me seems so uptight these days.
