Yes, it is good if you don't want Mozilla to decide for you if it should switch to DoH.

Here is an explation of all the Trusted Recursive Resolver modes.

Found this in the comments section of an article about search engines. Formatting could be better, but it's a decent read overall, and makes me want to dedicate time to configuring SearX properly;

@glittersloth Thanks for that! When you say "makes me want to dedicate time to configuring SearX properly", do you mean self-hosting? The public instances seem to work quite well.

At least are still disabling TLS1.0/1.1 support in Firefox with the 74 release instead of only enabling bitches. Only TLS 1.2+ is supported going forward. Wonder how many old sites are going to break.

I can't fathom what those HR pigeons are thinking their messaging is telling people about them. Who the hell wants a bitch to be his/her boss? People always have been leaving poorly paying companies OR their bosses.

It's the world we live in.  Easily offended people are everywhere and the internet gives them a voice.

Using Windows 10 while I ready myself to take the A+ exams.  Finished the first course in Cisco's NetAcad. Unfortunately, it may be a while before a testing center opens up. This damn Corona virus is ruining everything.  Classes this week have all been canceled.

I've replaced the broken spring in the mouse button switch. smile
Took a small copper plate from a switch in an old mouse.

Edit-----
Seems like this guy  also does this:

Bending it a little may help with clicking, but it may break very easy.
It's so thin and tiny.
It was already broken in my mouse when I opened the switch.

Repairing things is so cool. I patched and reinforced my coat yesterday (ripped pockets); this cloth is good to wear for another 10 years now smile

Just saw that the EU has some legislation trying to curtail planned obsolescence, hope I can find a source here's one article...

And naturally Apple Inc fought it tooth-and-nail because of their multitude of proprietry connectors, and their exclusive in-house parts servicing.

They did get a very recent slap-on-the-wrist from the EU in a related (I assume?) area...

I need to repair or rather replace a zipper. Not the whole zipper, just the small metal thing you grip. No idea where to get that sad

This reminds me...
Apple sues and they lose
(I have no idea why the video is called "whatch the followup video in the description")
I particularly like this:

This is what they tell law makers, state senators. Many of those are over 60 years old, they don't really get technology, so if we don't talk to them they will actually believe what Apple's lobbyists tell them.
And what this verdict here shows is that people in Norway in their legal system understand the difference between refurbishing and counterfeiting because they actually have a brain.
So thumbs up to the legal system in Norway for realizing that Apple is trying to pull a fast one!

Depending on the size of the hole in the slider, you can often thread a cord through it, and use that as the puller. I have also sewn a fabric tab onto a slider.
